This frame carrier attaches to the holder of the cup holder and is ideal as a carrier for the spare battery on longer trips with the pedelec or e-bike. The frame support attached to the beverage holder blends in perfectly with the frame - without disturbing you when pedaling. We have deliberately omitted side tabs or any limitation, since the two straps always keep luggage or battery in the middle and so different sized batteries or bottles, as well as other luggage can be easily transported. Matching straps or rubbers will soon be available as an extra. However, you can buy them cheap in the bike trade, Amazon or eBay. The battery sits with the right straps so tight that it does not move. He remains bombproof even after 50 km. You can theoretically lift the pedelec on the battery!

Another advantage of attaching to the down tube - not to be underestimated - with some wheels also on the pedelec's seat tube - is the weight distribution. Especially pedelecs with front-wheel drive quickly lose traction and tend to accelerate to slipping or even spinning front wheels in the rain or on sand. This is very unpleasant, especially on slopes and unpaved roads. In curves, a front-wheel drive pedelec also reacts very sensitively. Therefore, there are always problems with rear-heavy operation. Falls are often attributed to the poor, rear-heavy weight distribution, especially when the pedelec is loaded with a lot of weight on the rear luggage rack. A replacement battery on the down tube, attached to the intake for the bottle, can do wonders here. After all, so from 4 kg overweight on the axle of the rear wheel in the ratio about 10 kg extra weight that burden the front wheel. Consider that the leverage here is effective.
